This little domaine in the village of Prehy makes great austere Chablis in the traditional drier style.

Exceptional Chablis from a top small estate. Chalky soil, marginal climate contribute to the really dry style.

Bernard Legland is a gifted vigneron who makes classic Chablis; dry, austere and wonderfully satisfying.

Very dry with a refreshing slightly citrus zing on the finish.

Domaine des Marronniers: 15 hectares of good slopes near the village of Prehy exhibiting the typical characteristics of Chablis; chalky marl soil and Kimmeridgean clay subsoil. Chablis produces a unique form of Chardonnay grape in a northerly climate, dry style with tinges of pale yellow and green.
