Traditionally the fullest and fattest of white Burgundies, this is a particularly fine example from a tiny vineyard.

Producer Information

Domaine Mazilly Pere et Fils: Frederic Mazilly presides over this domaine which was founded by his father, Pierre in 1950. During the last half century they have increaced their vineyard ownership which now comprises 15 hectares spread over 12 appellations. Wine making is carried out using modern equipment. For the white wines fermentation is carried out in cask lasting approximately 20 days, whilst for the reds the stemmed grapes are placed in an open vat for maceration and fermentation (15-20 days). Cap-punching is carried out daily to extract maxinun colour. After fermantation and pressing the wine is matured in cask.
